The editing process has always been my favorite part of doing wedding photography. It's the part that takes the most time, and the part that mostly goes unseen. The average wedding is usually 4-8 hours, which results in hundreds of photos. Editing these can be very time consuming. Light corrections, color corrections, skin smoothing, etc... We want them to look good for you! I always really enjoy working on the photos of just the bride and groom the most. These are the ones that will go into picture frames, canvas, and hung on the wall.. In the future these will be at the front of the family photo album and remembered the fondest.

Sometimes you take an amazing photo, except you need to see beyond the initial results. Lightroom and Photoshop can help fix problems like over/under exposure, and white balance issues. I love the creativity I am allowed when going through all these pictures and transfering how I see them in my head onto the computer screen for all to see.

I absolutely love doing wedding photography, I think it is the most meaningful and remembered thing that I am able to capture with my camera. The photos that we take will out-live us, passed down through the generations in their well kept family albums that they live. Two hundred years from now I might not be remembered for anything important, but my photos will continue to live on... It's a way to live forever..

Wedding are just fun, pure and simple! It's like going to the best party of the year, multiple times of the year! The people are always happy... Everyone is the best versions of themselves for that day... The food, wow is the food always amazing!! On the flipside however, it can definitely be a little humbling when going to someones wedding.. This is the most important day of their life, and they have picked us to be there to help them remember... There is only one first kiss, first dance, cake eating, etc... It's a busy, crazy, fun, beautiful  time with lots going on, and a million places to be at once...

A couple of weeks ago we have the opportunity to do some wedding photography outside of NH. The wedding was at a place called The Towers, in Narragansett Rhode Island. What an amazing wedding venue! The Towers is a little castle that sits right on the ocean, great place to catch a beautiful sunset view! It was about 9 degrees out the day of the wedding, with a freezing wind chill come in from the ocean. I felt so bad for our couple, especially the bride! She was outside for about 30 minutes getting photos taken in only her wedding dress. Check out our Andrew & Caitlin wedding gallery to see the wedding photos we took that day!
